AR15 9MM MAG WELL ADAPTOR FOR COLT / UZI STYLE

The KAK 9mm mag well adapter fit snugly into the Anderson lower I purchased. I am very exited to see how it performs when rounds are put through the weapon.

This is a price performer and it works great! It took me a long time to decide just what parts to use and still be within the budget I'd set for it. Right out of the box it has performed flawlessly. I've run 4 different ASC 20 and 32 rd mags through it and had zero issues. The LRBHO worked from the beginning. No bending or adjustment required. The adaptor fit snugly in a PSA lower without any issue. That went along with an Aero slick sided upper and KAW 16" barrel, linear comp, bolt, 7.5 oz. buffer and spring. The gun went together like a charm and worked as if it had come from a factory and tested beforehand. It shoots really well, too. If I decide to build a pistol version, I won't hesitate to use another one of these adaptors.

Wanted to convert an AR lower to 9mm. Found this and since it is made of metal figured i would give it a shot. Fits nicely and seats firmly. No play at all. Magazines slide in nicely and drop like a champ.

Used adapter in PSA lower - test fired unit today. No problems, LRBHO is great.

KAK makes some nice stuff, I've never been disappointed with any purchase I've got from them and this is no exception. This is a great adapter for your colt style 9mm mags. First off I'll start with the very minor negatives. 1. It didn't come with any instructions, but it's easy enough to figure out. [[Unscrew the little screw w/ washer on the top, slide the adapter up in from the bottom, replace the screw n washer when the top of the adapter is flush this will ensure that it doesn't drop out, then set the two set screws on the bottom]] 2. It was a little bowed out on the sides, so I had to bend the thin metal in gently just a little with some channel locks. Now the positives. 1. Broke in my new PSA 9mm pistol w/ CQB PDW brace with 200 rds and had 1 double feed using 32 rd ASC mags. It's the mags fault, but I'm putting it here anyway. 2. The hold open feature worked flawlessly for me with the standard bolt & buffer. 3. The ASC mags were a tight fit at first, needed to give them a bump to get them to seat. But now with 500 rounds through it, it's loosened up a little and seats solidly without the bump. 4. Mag release has worked flawlessly from the get-go. 5. 2 32-rd rapid fire mag dumps with the new TPJ ammo at the end of my last session went without issue. 6. After cleaning my 9mm pistol, the adapter hadn't noticeably moved at all. Awesome adapter. Get it.

Works very well with my Colt 9mm upper. It is a snug fit in my lower, so snug that I didn't need the set screws to hold the adapter in place.

I chose the KAK mag adapter after comparing it to some of the other ones out there. The ProMag version didn't have a bolt hold open feature and was mainly made of plastic, and the Hann adapter was a little bit beyond my budget. This Kak adapter had all of the features I was looking for. It installs from the bottom (which means I don't have to remove the bolt catch on my AR if I ever need to convert it back to 5.56mm), has set screws that hold it snuggly in place inside the mag well, has good built in feed ramps, works with the normal AR magazine release button to pop out the empty mags, and has the bolt hold open feature on the last round. The KAK was THE ONLY 9mm mag adapter that has all of those features at $100. Everything fit nicely on my AR and there was no slop in the mag well. The adapter itself is made of some pretty hefty sheet metal. I am looking forward to many years of use on this adapter.

Really wanted an AR-9 but wanted the ability to use existing registered SBR lower. I did a ton of research and have used other KAK products so this was a clear choice. It fits great in both lowers and functions properly. I've run about 10 mags through and competed in 1 PCC match so far with no issues, that weren't operator related, using standard and suppressed Subs. There are set screws to tighten the fit but mine fits perfect with no wiggle. The swap from one lower to another is easy enough and it is positively locked in place while in use. Remove the small allen screw and drop it out like an mag. The only thing that would make this better would be a tool-less integrated lock. I'm gonna lose the screw or washer at the range one of these days. Overall it was exactly what I needed for my desired build.
