KAK Industry AR15 13" MLOK Free Float Handguard

Designed and machined here in the U.S.A., KAK's free float AR15 handguards are of exceptional value.   

Our twin lug fastening system pulls the handguard firmly against the barrel nut, eliminating handguard deflection, while the anti-rotation tabs guarantee that the handguard is in perfect alignment with your upper receiver.  Unlike the pressure clamps used on many handguards, our mounting system ensures that your handguard will not detach from the upper or rotate out of place. Our Handguard design is incredibly rigid in combination with our HD barrel nut and heavy-duty mounting hardware.

 

  • Machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum
  • Hard coat anodized
  • Full length top picatinny rail
  • MLOK attachment slots on all 7 sides
  • Steel HD barrel nut – Properly heat treated with phosphate finish uses a standard castle nut wrench or the included barrel nut wrench
  • Billet aluminum fastening lugs- Properly heat treated, phosphate finish
  • Grade 8 HD fasteners, properly heat treated, black oxide finish, hex head.
  • Free float handguard for increased accuracy
  • 13" overall length, Handguard measurements are true to length

    Very tight fit to upper before you even put Wedge clamps on. I highly recommend KAK make a quad rail with the same lock up. Best price and awesome quality

    Decided to give KAK rails a try, ordered a couple Black Friday 2023. They are truly excellent. Great machining, anodizing and barrel nut clamp lockup. They are slightly heavier than the BCM MCMR rails I usually buy but they feel much more rigid and less flexy. I recommend these, even at regular price without the sale price. $104 is a phenomenal price for what you get. A very sturdy and well built rail. KAK five stars

    I recently purchased the 13" version of this hand guard for my 6.5 Grendel and I am very impressed, especially considering the price. The fit and finish is excellent and installation was very simple, with all necessary hardware and barrel nut wrench included. The way it attaches with the two locking blocks makes for a rock solid lock up and there is very little flex in the handguard. Overall a great product and probably my go to handguard for future builds.

    I currently own Geissele, Daniel Defense, Knights, Aero Precision, Midwest Industries handguards, of many different sizes. I can honestly say that I will be using the KAK handguards for the custom rifles I build for my "operating" clients as well as for my self! Equal to the super high end brands! Completely straight, very tight fit, very solid....and NOT $275.00 plus in price!!!

    This is my second KAK hand guard. Solid company with great products. Smooth outside, great anodizing. Strong construction. M-loc on 7 sides. Endless mounting options. This one is going on my spr 18” .. I also have their 9” hg. Great for my takedown 5.56… 11.5” build.

    Very lightweight and strong handguard, looks clean and it’s pretty thin. One of the few great 13” options I would recommend on a 13.7/13.9” build.

    I am beyond impressed with KAK's quality and products. I have nothing but good things to say about this rail, from its fit and finish to how it feels when running and gunning. This rail is an excellent addition to any build and the price is unmatched! I have some other "Gucci" rails on my other rifles and after using this on a most recent build I'm questioning why I even bothered spending 3X the price on other brands. Seriously, KAK you make excellent parts and I will be a customer for life.

    All parts were there to change barrell and very good instructions ,very satisfied,part were high quality and finish was very good ,matched my upper receiver finish
