The K-SPEC Buffer was developed with specific goals in mind- Reducing felt recoil and providing faster follow up shots.  With modern technology being applied to firearms, you’re likely aware of the recoil management solutions that have been applied to many popular pistol operating systems. Many recoil rods in pistols went from a single piece recoil rod assembly to a dual recoil rod spring assembly with compression guide rod.

With the modernization of firearms, we found out a way to apply this technology to the AR15 Platform

The K-SPEC Buffer features an innovative recoil reduction system that absorbs and disperses felt recoil. Minimizing muzzle flip and kickback allowing you to fire faster and more accurately by being able to stay on target more effectively.

The K-SPEC Buffer features a two-piece reciprocating buffer body and a custom captured compression spring mechanism internally,  which works in conjunction with our flatwire buffer spring. The majority of the felt recoil is transferred into the buffer spring, and then dispersed into the K-SPEC buffer internals which absorb recoil and distributes recoil more evenly and linearly instead of abruptly as you experience with traditional buffer systems.

These are simply direct replacements for whichever weight you’re using, choose whichever buffer weight you are currently utilizing in your firearm. Your firearm will function the same, you will notice decreased felt recoil with the K-SPEC Buffer. If you are running a lighter buffer such as a 3 oz carbine, simply select the closest weight- example- H1

I just stumbled upon a poorly done youtube review insinuating that these buffers are somehow finicky or unreliable, even though the fool didn't bother to use the proper weights for his setups. This compelled me to leave a review here, as I've been running the 3.8 here on my pinned and welded 13.9 for about 1500 rounds with no issues. It also functions flawlessly with my 16" and with a few other uppers my friends have tried, no issues. The combination of this buffer and a SOLGW nox up front make for a gentle shooter. The dot hardly moves. A friend bought a different company's buffer system intending to chase similar results with no luck. Another friend has purchased one of these after shooting my rifle a few times and comparing it against others. Is it a totally necessary item? Of course not, but here I am, purchasing a second for my second rifle. Why? I can't stand hearing the clanging spring sound of a traditional buffer/spring after running this so long, and I always end up swapping lowers so I can run this one because it so comfortable to shoot. All in all, it's hard to think of a setup where this won't offer a huge improvement over stock, just make sure you get the right weight. All for much less than the cost of an A5 system. KAK have really make a wonderful product here in my opinion, and has brought it to market for a very fair price, as is their way. Bravo. P.S. The little buffer install tool they include is brilliant, just make sure you don't lose it when you open your package like I did.

Upgraded from a carbine buffer on my midlength PSA AR15. It has reduced the recoil impulse and muzzle rise by roughly 20-30% rifle still runs reliably with Steel case 223 and full power 5.56 loads.
