This carrier enables you to run a standard 3 oz standard carbine buffer instead of H buffer weights with an FRT.

There is a floating weight in the carrier tail which has a dead blow effect eliminating bolt bounce, and providing enough weight for the FRT to function as intended. 

We have tested this successfully with the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety, AS Designs ARC fire FRS, Atrius Development FRS, and Rare Breed FRT. Similarly designed product should work as well.

    It works as they say. I just got the carrier. Put a SOLGW bolt in it. Worked out great. I may have felt a little more recoil, but it's worth it.

    I was having a problem getting a frt trigger to work by changing springs and trying different buffer weights .I popped this thing in and the frt worked perfect with the standard carbine buffer weight and spring , just like they said it would ! Great product !!

    does just what it's supposed to do your individual may need a little here or there but this fills in most all the gaps and guess work
