This BCG enables you to run a standard 3 oz standard carbine buffer instead of H buffer weights with an FRT.

There is a floating weight in the carrier tail which has a dead blow effect eliminating bolt bounce, and providing enough weight for the FRT to function as intended.

We have tested this successfully with the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety, AS Designs ARC fire FRS, Atrius Development FRS, and Rare Breed FRT. Similarly designed product should work as well.

To Down-Vent Or To Not To

Posted by DM on July 13, 2026

I got this standard-venting DBC to compare to the down-venting version I purchased previously - wondering if would run cleaner or not since I’m running exclusively suppressed setups. I couldn’t see a discernible difference at all. Both are fine and it’s actually a non-issue. Honestly, both run flawlessly on “accelerated” semi auto, which is what they’re made to do. The only difference I think I noticed, which is totally subjective, is that the down vented version may be slightly (and I mean very slightly) quieter when running suppressed.

Love this carrier, after too much ammo and too many range trips, I finally got my FRT working flawlessly

    Amazing invention

I was skeptical about this but they proved me wrong. This thing works and is a work horse just runs. It is a little slower but it's reliable and manageable.

Great product design, solid built and the carrier inserts doing what it supposed to do! Why I didn’t know KAK Industry sooner. I have to order two more for my other build ?????
