Great barrel, Great Price
I got this barrel to replace another I was having issues with. I built another upper, it initially had issues with steel case surplus. After shooting a Mag of brass, switch back to steel with no issues. It will shoot inch group at 100 with cheap brass, and 2.5 with wolf steel. I suggest it to anyone wanting to try X39 and will use kak products again. I am very satisfied

Good as is
I am shopping around for the 18 inches barrel 7.62x30 that have the lower twist 1:9.5 only kak has its. The barrel is very accuracy 1 to 2 inches groups at 100 yards along with 10 round ASC magazine ordered from kak

Second 7.62x39 barrel
First barrel was a carbine gas, 16". The additional two inches of barrel add between 40-60 fps. Accuracy is about the same as the 16". Interestingly, the 18" upper with just a thread protector weights the same as the 16" with an A2 type muzzle device. The 16" barrel is more accurate with the muzzle device installed, the 18" is more accurate with just the thread protector. Accuracy is 1.5 MOA, or better, with handloads, 3-5 MOA with steel case.

I looked all over the place for a mid length barrel 18 inch or longer in 762x39 and could not find any from anyone. Then i came here and not only did I find exactly what I wanted I found it for half the price most of the 16 inch stuff was listed at. The service was easy to work with the items I have ordered have always been in stock and delivery was so fast I was almost not ready for it. I was so impressed that I came back for another barrel for my LR 10 build in 762x51. Nothing but praise here will pass on to all my contacts for sure.

great value
Great barrel at good price. Went together perfectly and has run great right from the start. Cycles fine with any ammo. Have it set up as a hunting rig with Hornady SST out of 5 round ASC mags. Haven't had a hick up yet. Accuracy is good (1.5" groups at 100 yards). Shoots the regular steel case stuff just fine too with the KAK BCG.Good hog/deer rifle with the SST rounds. Good job KAK.

Great ! 7.62x39 18" value line barrel very nice price.
Barrel has a .125 (1/8") gas port. Fit and finish is perfect. Got 1 MOA and less at 100 yards. Should improve, shooter needs steadier hand. Mags feed great no feed issues. Fairly light weight profile. Makes me want to build a few more,can't go wrong with this barrel. Thanks KAK! I also went with KAK gas block and gas tube. Also good fit.

Ordered this barrel for my 7.62x39 build
The barrel installed perfect and works without issue. Used with ASC 5 round magazines and had no feeding issue at all.
