This BCG works great right out of the box!
I had a good experience with purchase of a barrel and Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) from KAK industries. The shipping was fast and my order arrived undamaged and all my items were as described and of good quality. The appearance of the BCG was very nice and all the machine work looked good. The stripped bolt head spaced correctly with an 18 in rifle length KAK barrel. I have completed a function test of the completed rifle, there were no failures of any kind in 60 rounds of 150 gr Winchester brand hunting ammo using ASC and Magpul brand magazines. LR 308 BCGs should be run "wet" I use a liberal dose of 10W-30 synthetic motor oil with very good results on Direct gas Impingement (DI) BCGs. Note that the extractor and and duel ejectors are extremely vigorous giving good reliability but recovering your brass may require a bit more work.

Top quality, surprising function
Bought for a Franken-308 PA-10 build. By Franken, I mean PA-10 upper and lower, rifle buffer and spring, and a Brownells 20" melonited SS barrel. PSA has been out of BCGs for a while, and I wanted a matching melonited BCG with FA anyway. I bought both this and an AIM Surplus melonited BCG to compare. First, this BCG is machined WAY nicer, and the finish looks a little better (probably because of the nicer finish). I felt like this BCG hot a snag however when it headspaced a little outside of the nogo gauge (only by about .002", still well within the field gauge). To compare, the AIM was tighter and within the nogo. Shooting, however, told the complete story. This BCG functioned flawlessly and I was able to turn my gas down about halfway until it ceased to cycle. Brass, all in a 6" circle and with the right ammo (my barrel seems to like 168gr bthp), about 1 MOA (or about as good as I shoot anyway). The AIM was all over the place and tefised to extract unless the gas was opened all the way, still bouncing the rounds off the table and banging the brass up pretty bad. Needless to say, the AIM is being sold and the KAK is here to stay. The FA is hit or miss depending on where it engaged, but with my gas set up right, 200 rounds and I've had no need for it. I may try to order another bolt to see if it headspaces better and to have a spare, but for now, I found the winning combo for my PA-10.

Great Product
The finish on this thing is immaculate. KAK knows what they're doing! Cleans very easily and ejects consistently.

BCG
Just finished my Aero Build yesterday and shot it on Sunday. Works great wish the firing pin was a little bit harder for some reason it don't like the military primers maybe to hard . Winchester and CCI no problems. Great product would definitely buy another for next build .

great bcg
I was looking for a better bcg for a kit build from other manufacturer. The one that came with kit would not feed reliably. I thought I would give this KAK bcg a try. I was very impressed. It is well made with innovative twin ejectors. Functions flawlessly. I wish all manufacturers took such care and pride in their products as KAK does.

Over all good product
The bcg arrived in a timely manner and was packaged very well. Upon opening the visual quality was impressive and it installed with out any problems. Haven't had the opportunity to test fire yet but as soon as I do I will up date the review.

.308 bcg review
I purchased this bcg for a .308 build. so far I have shot 180 rds thru it. No malfunctions or fte`s.. Smooth ejection at 3-3;30. I do believe that the double o-ring on the extractor is a bit much. I think to test this theory I will run 200-300 more rounds thru the gun to loosen it up and take one o-ring off. The double o-ring is not hurting the brass and is a good idea till the gun breaks in. But I would like to test this later. For the price this bcg is A++, would buy this again in a heartbeat . The machine work and the finish is first rate. I have seen worst for a lot more money. ( name brands ) If they can keep the price and quality as it is today, I will buy more for my future builds. I took a chance on this, and I`m glad I did.
