    K-10 BILLET

SO FAR SO GOOD. I HAD A PALMETTO LOWER MATED TO A KAK UPPER AND IT DIDN'T FIT SO WELL, ALMOST A FORCED FIT. WHEN I GOT THE KAK LOWER IT WENT RIGHT IN WITHOUT TO MUCH TROUBLE.

    Overall pleased

I’d have to note this is my first time building an LR 308 and I’m only using KAK parts minus the handguard, but the lower assembles with few issues. I bought this lower for the KAK 308 upper and they fit together almost perfectly, there’s very little to no wobble and it feels pretty solid. There’s a slight gap between the upper and lower at the rear of the receiver but nothing that effects functionality as far as my BCG goes. I had to sand down the mag release catch a little to get it to slide with ease and the detent spring for the front takedown pin needed to be cut maybe 2mm. Those were the only "issues" I ran into when assembling. As for look and esthetics the finish matches flawlessly, as for the receiver cuts the rear of the upper receiver and buffer tube ring have different lines. The upper has two lines running down the side and the lower receiver buffer ring has three. Only thing I wish this lower had would be a mag well with a slightly larger flare just for sake of ease. At the end of the day I like the fit and finish and am curious to see how this setup performs as time goes on.
