This BCG enables you to run a standard 3 oz standard carbine buffer instead of H buffer weights with an FRT.
There is a floating weight in the carrier tail which has a dead blow effect eliminating bolt bounce, and providing enough weight for the FRT to function as intended.
We have tested this successfully with the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety, AS Designs ARC fire FRS, Atrius Development FRS, and Rare Breed FRT. Similarly designed product should work as well.

- M16 Auto Profile Carrier Machined from Aircraft/ Bearing Quality 8620 Steel, Properly Heat Treated, Ground to Perfection, chrome lined phosphate finish
- Bolt is machined from a single piece aircraft/bearing quality 9310 steel, heat treated properly, precision ground, Shot Peened and MPI’d, phosphate finsh
- Firing pin is machined to the mil-spec print from 8740, precision ground, and chrome plated

The right answer to new problems.
I have 3 of these and I’ve recommended them to anyone having trouble finding an H3 dead blow buffer under $100 . You can buy just the carrier for $80ish and swap your current BCG parts over to finish it out or just buy a complete BCG and be done with it . I have 1 on a 5” 5.56 with the SB tactical HBPDW brace and another one on a 5” 300blkout with the maxum defense shorter pistol brace setup and they run super safe if you get my drift. Both guns are low round count so at the time of this post Nov 2026. I can only state that they do the job they say they will . I’ve done customer’s builds with these in them as well and haven’t had anyone unhappy with the results.

Works perfectly with my Trigger company FRT. make sure it’s properly greased and it will run flawlessly. Great purchase and will be buying again for my other FRT builds. Shipping was fast nothing bad to say about this BCG.

Great BCG
Put a pistol length upper together with a stock carbine buffer and spring and fired 100 rds. All of the brass elected at 4:30 into a nice 2 ft diameter pile behind me! Beats screwing around with heavier buffers and springs!

Love it! Ran perfect in my PSA 5.56 with the Atrius frs and C.A.R.L. Also ran great in my PSA 7.5" 300 blackout with the Hoffman Tactical trigger kicker. Both setups had carbine buffer and spring.

Finally. FRT running
5 months of frustration is over. H1, h2, h3, geissele h1 super 42, gas block adjustments. Found this, wnt back to original ruger carbine buffer and spring- perfect. The gas block dials it in perfectly. Thank you kak geniuses.

Works as described. One of the best accessories for the firearms market since the FRT. Absolutely AMAZING. Works great with me H&R M16A2 with C.A.R.L. 3-round burst system. Hoping to see a 9mm version soon.

Dbc bcg works pretty well. Pin walks though
Works pretty well and does what it is supposed to. Used it with a H3 super 42 and it slowed it down enough to get the perfect fire rate. The only thing is the roll pin that holds the weight wants to walk out. Id imagine it cant escape but it was sitting proud of the carrier after 200rds.
