Tinkerers dream
Purchased for nine mill AR build. Very few fitment issues but it did require some smoothing of the feed ramp and fitment with my polymer lower receiver. Still ironing out reliability problems but very pleased

Quality Product
Easy Install, Excellent Tolerances, Minimal play between the mag adapter and mag well. Set screw at the bottom eliminates all movement and lock the adapter in place well. Standard colt metal mags seems to fit better with less resistance when reloading. The polymer promag mags seem to have alot of resistance when loading and ejecting the magazine. Excellent Product overall, well built and matches up with the KAK enhanced 9MM BCG and the KAK 4.5" Barrel perfectly as expected.

Pretty darned impressed!
So I read all of the reviews, and decided to order one! First of all am I the only person who read the description and thought it would also take Uzi mags? Well it doesn't. Installation was a breeze, and it ran without an issue using the inexpensive polymer covered 32 round Pro Mags. I put a hundred rounds down range without a problem including steel case. This is my first 9 mm AR build. I'm using a basic Anderson multi caliber lower, with a 10 1/2" pistol upper. What I did notice not related to the product was the trigger pin started walking almost immediately, which apparently is very common in 9 m m builds. There are several companies out there that make a remedy for this. Back to the product, definitely give this a shot, and I think everybody here for their reviews to make an informed decision!

Works flawlessly in M16 lower
With the demise of Olympic Arms, I could no longer get ejector springs from my Olympic 9mm top end for my M16 lower. By purchasing a KAK 9mm Mag Well Adaptor, I was able to convert over to Colt mags (which are very easy to load, being double stack design). The mag well adaptor worked perfectly on semi auto, full auto, and burst modes. The bolt locked open after the last shot and the mags dropped out smoothly. The upper retention screw causes slight interference with the upper, but by adjusting the washer before tightening the screw, it closes OK. A little relief filing on the upper would help with closing the upper.

Mag well insert
Fit and finish are top notch. This is going on my sbr build. Can’t say how it works yet as I haven’t completed my upper build, but it fit perfectly in my aero precision completed lower. Fit snug, and the converted uzi mags seat great! I see no problems so far.

Great product but needs a little tweeking
This was my third 9mm magwell adapter. Great fit and quality, although I checked my first magwell adapter the other day to find the set screws were backing out. I re-tightened them and used some blue locktite. I did the same on my last one to find that Palmetto placed an out of spec bolt release in the lower. The people at Palmetto must have forced the bad part in making the KAK part fit too tight and it bowed, not allowing the mag holder to work. I replaced the bolt hold open and went to take the screws out that I had blue locktited in the Kak magwell and the screws were very easy to strip out the allen head. I would like to see Kak put larger set screws and a tighter fitting allen wrench in future product. It works well now but a lot of screwing around.

FTE initally but easily fixed
I did have some issues with Failure to Ejector initially upon first firing but after a closer inspection I realized that the ejector was not making contact with the round casings. So I got some pliers and bent the ejector inwards a little and that did the trick! ASC mags fit nice and snug, I did have to file the edge of the ASC orange mag feeder as it was catching on the front of the KAK adapter when it got down to one of two rounds causing a failure to feed, after I did that it has been running great! I was expecting to make some slight modifications from what I've read online since an AR9 is not a standard platform and the problems were easy to fix. adapter sits perfectly and is nice and tight but easy to remove if and when the time comes.

Got it to work excellent
I bought this adapter to replace a lesser expensive block adapter and i should have bought this KAK brand from the get go, at first i had a bit of trouble getting it to fit , so i called KAK and they gave a few ideas to try and i ended up using my dremel to make a small adjustment and i got it to drop in with out a hitch, my nephew helped me get it to seat right in the magwell and he fastened the set screws and i test fired it today 5 11 19 and it ran very well with the exception of 2 malfunctions but i was trying different ammo, the 2 rounds i had a problem with i stopped using and i did not have a problem the rest of the day, so in closing if you are looking for a great 9mm dropin adapter block KAK is defintely the way to go for the money and reliabilty plus the last round hold open latch worked perfectly.
