  • Carrier- machined from aircraft/bearing quality 8620 steel, heat treated, ground to perfection
  • Profile- M16 full auto profile carrier with correct sear trip placement
  • Bolt- Machined from aircraft/bearing quality 9310 steel, heat treated properly, precision ground, standard .125 bolt face depth, Shot Peened, MPI Tested
  • Firing pin- Machined to the mil-spec print from 8740, precision ground, properly heat treated
  • Extractor- Machined enhanced billet extractor - phosphate coated
  • Ejector- S7 tool steel ejector and extractor retaining pin
  • Gas Key- 4130 steel, nitride treated, precision staked using our hydraulic staking machine

    First off a huge thanks to KAK Ind. for shipping out (USPS Priority) my KAK AUTO 7.62x39 BCG so fast... well within my expectations, 5 Stars! The 7.62x39 BCG is about what you'd expect from a non-stamped BCG... what I mean by that is there is no markings on the BC or bolt as to testing properties. Bolt head space was spot on, and you can see and feel a much more robust extractor compared to a 5.56 bolt. The firing pin is just as you see in the KAK catalog photos and extends further than a standard firing pin leaving me to believe it will do the job with steel cased ammo (primers) as intended. Unless I find out otherwise I will give this BCG a scheduled Frog Lube treatment since it is simply a military phosphate finish. KAK also included an additional extractor o-ring... an added bonus. Thanks! Over all I have great expectations for this 7.62x39 BCG in my 10.5" pistol build and will be very eager to see the results. Thanks again to KAK Industry for a low cost quality product!

    Great bolt that performs the way it should even with steel ammo. If you are having light strike issues here is your solution at a great price.
