SPECIAL EXTENDED AR-15 / LR-308 MAGAZINE RELEASE

Great product ! Just what is needed to have a well seated mag release button.

The longer thread made it easy to add a regular mag release since I no longer need the CA complaint BS. The regular threaded mag release was too short to properly seat it. This worked great.

Just as the summary title says, if you’re building an AR-10/LR-308 using Aero Precision M5 lower and want to use aftermarket mag release buttons, this mag release catch by KAK is a must have as it’s the only one long enough to accommodate the buttons. Aero Precision’s solution was to extend and make longer their buttons instead of the catch hence why when you get their parts kits the catch is short

I got lucky on a PSA308 build and a stock mag catch fit. But the most recent build, on a Juggernaut lower, the standard mag catch was not going to work, The KAK catch fit perfectly!

I am echoing many solid reviews of this item, If you have an AR10 and you want to install an extended mag release you need this to make it function reliably.. It is well made, and quite honestly makes me want to look at more of what KAK makes.
