Shockwave Package - BLACK

I had the Sig brace but hadn't mounted it. I had used several friends' pistols with the Sig brace and it was heavy and bulky and "squishy". I thought the Shockwave would be too thin to be... uhhh... fired from my... chin comfortably, especially with a .300BLK, but I was VERY happily surprised when I opened the package. There is enough width on the back of the brace to comfortably fire it from "anywhere but your shoulder". And the ability to relatively quickly adjust the LOP was a bonus. The only downside is that I can see the tube getting very scratched up in adjusting the brace back and forth and trying to find the detents while tightening down the anchor bolt. But that is aesthetic and will be under the brace anyway.

Installation was a breeze. I do love the set screw and the weight reduction over the Sig Brace. This is the go to setup for any pistol build. I just wish the supplied endplate was QD instead of a standard endplate but that's just a crazy minor issue.

Just installed this kit yesterday on my Anderson Machining lower. Fit like a dream and great idea for an adjustable set screw. Anyone that has used the Sig Brace will appreciate the rigidity of the blade and the adjustable length. Will be using these on my next pistol builds. Great job KAK

The quality is very good, I like the way how looks and feel, very strong materials I had said, the kak buffer tube is excellent , I am very happy with the purchased and I didn't expent all that kind of money that other companies are charging and is so easy to install.

Like so many of us I research twice and buy once or so I hope, and in this case I could not be more satisfied. The Shockwave brace is a design improvement our the trend setting SIG brace. I worked for SIG and have built many ARs with that option, but in my opinion this new design is a tactical upgrade. KAK has taken it a step further by creating a buffer tube that secures the brace simply and without any rotational movement when deployed. Made in the USA and it shows. First time customer who received my order fast and will be shopping here again. Keep it up KAK!

This is a great by for the money. It comes with everything you need to install onto your lower reciever. No guessing whether the blade will fit on the buffer tube. Looks and feels like exceptional value. Good alternative to Sig brace if you want something less expensive, smaller and different looking. Great buy.

Much, much better than expected. I owned & used the Sig brace for over a year, good product that I was satisfied with but extremely over priced... this Shockwave & KAK (adjustable!) buffer tube is a FAR superior product and value. The Shockwave is lighter, slimmer, more ergonomic and no unsightly/bothersome Velcro strap that you "should/have to" keep in place to help against possible legal issues. The Sig brace will soon go the way of the Dodo bird if they don't do something to try and stay relevant (like DRAMATICALLY lowering their price), especially in face of this Shockwave KAK package. A Sig brace alone will cost you the same or even more than this entire kit. Let's face it, if you are using it for what they are intended (alternative shoulder stock) and trying to decide between the Sig or Shockwave, look no further as the Shockwave truly makes the Sig an old bulky heavy relic in comparison but if you are injured or want to look like a Borg (Star Trek), honestly the Sig brace may be better for you. For my part, I will now be selling my Sig brace to help fund another KAK Shockwave package, thanks KAK!

Couldn't be happier! Outstanding fit and finish, light, strong and durable. Looks fantastic on my 300 blackout 10.5" pistol. Great price with fast, inexpensive shipping. Glad I didn't go with the Sig brace, this is far superior in my opinion. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommended!
