    It's Perfect

    Posted by J-rod on August 27, 2015

I purchased the original black blade shortly after it was approved and started being sold. I ended up purchasing the three other colors of the Shockwave Blade currently offered (OD,Grey, and FDE). I am extremely pleased with the products, service, and delivery time. I've always received prompt responses to my questions. The product design is awesome, sturdy, and seems to be very durable. It matches Magpul products nicely. The shipping time is super fast. The product was always at my door within 3 business days (from CA to FL). I would highly recommend their buffer tube combo package designed specifically for the Shockwave Blade. It's a great deal and the buffer tube is an excellent design that works perfectly with the blade. I always upgrade to the H2 for $10 extra.

    Stoked!

Swapped out the Sig brace for this and the difference is like night and day as far as profile and weight are concerned. My pistol comes in at just over 6 lbs now. As usual always a pleasure doing business with KAK wasn't the first time and won't be the last. THANKS

    Good lookin and well priced!

Can't write a better than the ones before my purchase. All of those reviews speak for themselves. Take time to read them. It looks good and the price was a little higher than ebay, but I got a freebie patch to make up the cost. Glad I ordered from KaK. I have not had time to finish build and try It out myself.

    shockwave package

These packages are awesome. I bought one to try out and ended up coming back for two more. Great quality product for a decent price, not to mention it makes your gun look awesome. The feature of having the dimples in the tube are good because you can lock your desired length in and not have to worry about it spinning around. They give your gun the appearance of a sbr without the annoying tax stamp.

    Excellent product

I am very impressed with this product. The functionality, price, and aesthetics are far superior to the Sig Sauer arm brace. I actually took off and sold the sig brace that came on an ar pistol I got, just so I could turn around and buy the shockwave fin... And I had money to spare. The set screw feature is great for adjusting to fit your "forearm size", and locks the fin tightly in place. Overall, the shockwave fin blasts any other product of similar design out of the water. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a high quality option for your ar or ak pistols.

    Best Pistol Brace

Posted by Jerry on July 29, 2015

I did my research on the major players in the pistol brace arena - Sig and KAK. With the release of the new buffer tube with pre-drilled dimples for a large range of adjustment, the KAK ShockWave got the nod for this build. Not everyone's forearm is the same length (my knuckles drag the ground) and being able to adjust for maximum forearm support of an AR Pistol, regardless of caliber, is very important. The ShockWave shipped promptly and arrived with each component sealed in plastic. I noted zero cosmetic defects and it arrived exactly as depicted in the images on their order page. Since this was a new build, nothing had to be done except install it. The installation is the same as any buffer tube assembly. Put in the selector/safety detent and spring, screw the buffer tube in until it reached the buffer stop pin hole, drop that pin and spring in and turn until the tube protrudes slightly over the stop pin with the endplate firmly placed against the lower receiver. Tighten the castle nut. Then insert the buffer and buffer spring. Unscrew the "blade's" adjustment bolt until below the inside edge of the blade and move it to a position that puts the length of pull at your bent elbow. Wiggle it to find the closest detent dimple and tighten. The ShockWave Blade locks as tight (maybe tighter) as any adjustable carbine stock; there is zero play in it once snugged up. There is a warning about over-tightening - you can damage the tube. Instructions were clear and concise for anyone who has not assembled an AR lower receiver before. I am very pleased with the KAK ShockWave Package - it provides forearm stabilization of an AR Pistol significantly better than the competition. If you are building an AR Pistol, or upgrading an existing build and want a rigid and adjustable forearm brace, I strongly recommend the KAK ShockWave.

    Awesome

This is a must have for anyone looking for a low cost, high quality alternative to the SB15. This brace is incredible, it's less expensive than the SB15 all together and is lighter weight. I honestly think it looks cooler as well. Overall this was a great purchase and I recommend anyone building a pistol, look into one of these. Also thanks to the staff here for being very quick with the shipping!

Just what I was looking for

This was exactly what I was looking for and I'm glad I found KAK industries. This is my first pistol build and this brace functions perfectly.
