2nd Shockwave
I Love these things, my first one is on my 7" 300 AAC folder, my back pack gun, I'm building another in either 9mm or 45 acp, don't know yet. But they are simple, comfortable, well made, and perfect for any pistol.

By far the best brace out there.
Best brace ever. Better than copy cat Magpul braces, which I returned and bought the KAK. Magpul doesn't collapse fully and extends about an inch and a half short of full carbine extension. KAK is good looking, same length of pull as a carbine stock, light, strong, inexpensive. Looks kind of similar to a commando stock. It went on easy, and is secure. KAK... why not make it look even more like an M4 or commando stock? By doing so, you would have no competition. Great product!!

Ridiculous to get on/off.
So I love KAK blades. I have a 2.0 on my AR9 and had the original blade on my 10.5 forever. I decided to update my 10.5 with a milspec tube and tried the Magpul BSL but I was missing the look of the old blade so I snagged this. The fit/finish is perfect as usual and the QD socket is a nice upgrade from the old one. It's very reminiscent of the original plus its adjustable which is what I've been missing. This thing definitely has a catch though... It was a nightmare to get on. To the point that I almost said screw it and gave up because it's obviously going to be worse getting it off. The tabs are worthless to install/remove. You cannot press them far enough to clear the channel on the tube. I literally had to slip it on, wedge a flat tip driver over the retaining rod and bury it until it slipped on. This kills it for me. The BSL installs/removes in seconds and uses the same system.. Once you get it on thought the tabs can be used to adjust. I do love the look of it so it will do which is a good thing because it's on there permanently apparently.

Great Evolution
This is definitely a great evolution of an already established product. Fit and finish are spot on. I will slowly be phasing out my old blades and replacing them with the New Shockwave Blade Classic.
