This is compatible with the "tool room" models, the leaf spring will engage the serrations on the circumference of the shroud

This will also work with the production models as long as the shroud is tightened down, the pawl will not have the same functional use as it does with the oem version

Length- 2.775"

Weight- 5.9 oz

Heat Treated for strength and durability

Phosphate Coated for corrosion resistance

The shroud is machined from solid steel (not welded) and is designed to leave about .100 gap between the threaded shoulder and end of shroud for a seamless suppressor look

The Smith & Wesson Model 76 (S&W 76) is a selective-fire, closed-bolt submachine gun chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It was developed in the United States by Smith & Wesson in the 1960s as a scaled-down version of the Swedish Carl Gustav M/45 submachine gun (commonly known as the "Swedish K"). The S&W 76 was primarily intended for military and law enforcement use.

The S&W 76 featured a simple blowback operation and had a cyclic rate of around 600-700 rounds per minute. It had a folding stock for compactness and ease of transport, and it could accept both box and drum magazines, with the box magazines typically holding 32 rounds.

Despite its compact size and relatively low weight, the S&W 76 was known for its durability and reliability. It saw some adoption by law enforcement agencies in the United States and other countries. However, it did not achieve widespread military adoption.

The S&W 76 is no longer in production, but it remains a collectible firearm among enthusiasts due to its historical significance and relatively limited production numbers.
