As a high volume contract manufacturer for the firearms industry, KAK is able to leverage its machining capacity to bring the same quality parts that we provide to some of the biggest names in the industry, straight to the retail customer. We manufacture our barrels from the raw material all the way to the complete product, all under our own roof. Our barrels are fully inspected through the entire process, including air-gauging the bores, physical measurements of the threads and outer diameters, and 100% gauging of the headspace tolerance. Our OE-Spec line provides you with the quality you demand and the value you desire.
I have been using these for a while on some of my builds and have been surprised at the high quality and accuracy for the money. You can't go wrong with these Value-Line products.
This is my second barrel and completely satisfied with it. It's accurate and has really nice finish.
Really nice barrel at a great place. Nice snug install.
Bought several in diffrent calibers. I have never had any problems. Will be ordering more.
I originally purchased this for an economy build. When I received the barrel I was immediately impressed by the machining of the barrel and the melonite finish is incredible. Mounted the barrel and put 300 rounds through it and was impressed that it maintained 1.5 inch groups at 150 yards. Cleaning the barrel afterwards was incredibly easy. I am considering replacing my other barrels with melonited barrels. Shipping was fast and didn't cost much.
After using a KAK barrel for my 300BLK build and seeing how accurate it was I decided on this one for a 5.56 build. Using a high-end upper and handguard I can't get it to shoot under 1.5" @ 100 yds. Multiple bullet combinations have showed that it seems to be a 1.5 moa barrel. Not what I was hoping for,I like to shoot 200 yds or more, but for the money it's OK. Guess I'll be saving up for an upgraded barrel.
i can only attest to the look of the barrel so far. this is my first melonited barrel and i must say i like the finish. it looks thick compared to old school phosphate finishes i grew up with. the barrels (i bought two) are a kind of shiny dark black in color and the machining is very nice for a budget barrel and the rifling is very nice. i wish i could get out and fire them but it's very cold here and i am to old to be in a hurry anymore.
Nice quality barrel. The perfect replacement for my "pinned flash hider" barrel, at an awesome price. 200 rounds through it already. Holds a nice group at 300 meters. Very fast shipping as well.
