Flat is Justice
It's a got an interesting recoil impulse. It feels thumpy and smoothed-out vs snappy. Is it overgassed?... yes, but strangely and by far more manageable than an overgassed carbine length. The secret I found with these things are to use a flatwire buffer spring and the k-spec buffer. The flatwire keeps a more optimal pressure on the closed bolt, thus optimizing the bolt unlock timing and reducing gas out the ejection port and felt recoil due to the pressure having more regulation. With the k spec buffer, it irons it all out and the recoil impulse feels insanely dead, but still cycles reliably to lock the bolt back. The setup I have specifically is a Bexar Flatwire and a Spikes Tactical T2 deadblow buffer. Same principle, but it's the rifle with the least snappy recoil that I have, probably riviling M16's.

Very well built.
I wanted to test the 16” rifle length barrel in my varmint truck gun build and boy do I like it. The barrel was dimpled for easy installation. It is pretty punchy with full power 5.56 77 smk ammo. After installing H 1 buffer and extra power spring it was right in the sweet spot with my Hux 5.56 suppressor. After 400+ rounds of shooting steel and coyotes in the plains of SD I can say this barrel gets a pass in my book. Worth every penny.

16" rifle length gas
This is a great barrel. I'm running this with a light weight bcg, reduced power buffer spring and a light buffer, areo adjustable gas block. Getting 1/2 to 3/4" groups at 100 yards with m193 very soft recoil impulse. Very little movement on target. Great job KAK

Even lower recoil
I like it. Trying it out as I have not heard a lot about using this rifle gas on a 16" barrel. Was ejecting at about 4:30ish with a standard carbine buffer and spring.

Finallyyy
It's about time someone sold a dissipator barrel that isn't the obsolete heavy profile, thank god. The finish feels really high quality and fairly light for the length and price point. installed into my upper no problem. Still waiting for some parts before I can shoot it

Nice Finish, Shoots Well
Looks good and seems to be gassed appropriately to run with a rifle buffer setup. I was surprised by the accuracy. Was shooting handloads with 53 gr Vmax and Hornady 68gr HPBT. At 120 yards off a rest I was getting 1 MOA and 1.25 MOA, respectively. That's pretty good for a $120 barrel.
