OE-SPEC- 300 Blackout 8.5" Pistol Gas AR15 Barrel- Nitride

This was my first purchase from kak and I have to say I am impressed with the quality of their products and customer service. I accidentally ordered a 10.5 instead of the 8.5 so I called and they gladly changed the order before shipping it out. Usually ships out same day or next day after payment and at your door within a few days. I haven't used it yet because I'm waiting on my specwar 762 can but looks like a quality item. I replaced a no name 7.5" barrel in a 300blk pistol with this 8.5". One thing I was concerned about was the large 0.125" gas port and expected it to be over gassed so I added an adjustable GB. With the GB fully open, it cycled rounds with much lower charge than the previous barrel (down to 12gr W296) and working up to 18gr there was no symptoms of being over gassed. I wasn't able to get 30 cal carbine bullets to function reliably in this barrel where the previous barrel would cycle them fine. I would probably have to modify the feed ramps to get them to work, but the spire point bullets fed flawlessly. Accuracy was best with Barnes 110gr I tried with a 5rd group about the size of a quarter at 25yds. I was using a red dot and with my astigmatism I see 3 dots on the target. Need to try some other bullets/weights and a cross hair scope to see what this barrel is capable of. All in all, I like the accuracy from this barrel much better than what I had on the pistol before. Great price too!

Great price and excellent barrel for pistol or SBR build! The barrel is described perfectly, fit and finish were awesome, no blemishes or anything negative! I could not be happier with KAK! I'm so glad I was able to score one of these barrels before they sold out.

Couldn't resist the price so I bought one on a lark. Very pleasantly surprised. For a budget barrel the fit and finish is remarkable. Put about 100 rounds through it so far and it shoots straight. Great barrel for the price. If you buy one you wont be disappointed.
