OE-SPEC- 300 Blackout 8.5" Pistol Gas AR15 Barrel- Nitride

I bought one of these a while back when they were a contract overrun and was stoked to get one at the price back then. I still love the barrel and have bought several different ones since. Only thing I wish they had was the dimple for the gas block. I don't know why that isn't there.

Barrel is what you can expect and price is even better. Would be 100% better if it easy dimpled for the gasblock but hey at this price what do you expect

Hard to find this length barrel. Great product and value, very pleased. My pistol build runs great, and didn't cost arm and leg.

You could definitely spend more money but why would you this was my first 300 blackout build and it turned out fantastic so I went to the range not expecting much after all the barrel was only $ 100 bucks but was I wrong it shot great groups and as the day went on I thought surely they would open up but they did not so for me I will most definitely be using a KAK value line barrel for my next build Thanks KAK for making a great affordable products !!!!

I replaced a10.5" with this 8.5". After installing barrel and reattaching scope it shot dead on as before. Wow I was surprised. Same poi as other barrel, and same size group (1" 1/4 )@125yds with 100gr Lapua and 110gr barnes and 180gr Hornady spire point (sub sonic w/ can). But I had 2 end cap strikes with 220gr subs. I guess I will have to have 1-7 twist for heavy/long subs

Wanted to build an AR15 pistol and decided on a .300 BO since its perfect for SBR/Pistol lengths. Went with a 8.5" value line barrel to keep the cost down but still have a quality built barrel. And that's exactly what I got! Quality is great and at $108.75 delivered...it's hard to beat! The pistol was completed with a KAK Shockwave Blade...A MUST for any AR pistol build!

When I started looking into 300blk I knew I wanted a pistol of course, the round is designed for short barrels. So I began looking around, the cheapest I could find was $100-$110 barrels on Amazon, and for obvious reason I was skeptical. Then I saw a post on Instagram by KAK of someone else's build made with there barrel, so I looked into it. Reviews were all good, and for $108 I had no complaints. Got here in 3 days and put my upper together. I had Remington UMC 120gr OTFB and took a 3 shot group with A2 irons at 50yds. I didn't know what to expect, I knew with hand loads you could get impressive accuracy but I got a 0.65" group! With factory ammo and irons! I was very very impressed, with this barrel you know the rifle will do its part, so it's all up to you!

Like everything else I have purchased from KAK, you get a lot for your money. I wasn't expecting much, given the price of this offering but upon close inspection of the barrel I received, I am very pleased with this purchase. Finish is impeccable and bore/chamber as well machined. Muzzle threads and crown were also spot on. KAK is quickly becoming my "go-to" vendor for my AR-related needs!
