LR-308 CARBINE HEAVY BUFFER

If you're reading this you have build or are debating building an LR-308. I built a DMR, using an 18" Ballistic Advantage SS rifle gas barrel, and the A5 length RE tube that comes with Magpul's UBR 2.0 stock. That buffer tube is the same length as the Vltor A5 tube, Magpul SR25/M110 Extended Receiver tube and BCM's Intermediate buffer tube. Same thing. My setup that results in one smooth shooting DMR, is the KAK heavy buffer, Sprinco Orange spring and the UBR 2.0 RE tube. From day one, my weapon has cycled and functioned flawlessly. Thank you KAK for manufacturing quality parts. I was seriously struggling with the $100 buffers from that heavybuffer dot com place. KAK, you rock.

Read about this buffer and company in an independent online review, actually youtube 308 build. Recommended and not sure why I went with this company other than the fact the letters are exactly the same as my childhood nickname! Still, fast shipping very nice product. Not installed yet, saving up for the proper barrel and bolt ($700). Do it right, get the best internal parts. You can pay less, but I've learned while working with firearms, less expensive isn't always a great thing when you want reliability each and every-time. I am happy with my purchase.

The KAK buffer delivers. Nice quality. It's nice to break the weapon over and see SST that doesn't have chipped coating and looks beat up. 308AR build functions very well. Gives a positive feel in the recoil and feeding cycle. Price is good for the quality and R&D involved. Purchasing experience and delivery were top notch. Also purchased an OEM DPMS buffer spring that worked well, but opted for the orange Sprinco as a quality upgrade. Thanks for a great product.

My AR-10 was cycling perfectly till i put a suppressor on. Then the bolt started to fail to fully eject the fired round and ride over the next round deforming the brass and bending the bullet. In trying to decide between heavy buffer or adjustable gas block I was informed buffer would have more beneficial effect on recoil. Yours was half the price of others and available immediately. Received it within a couple days of ordering. Truly a value all else equal. It appeared to solve the problem initially, but the same thing has happened again on a couple occasions. Maybe if it were extra heavy? Or I might try the orange spring mentioned in other reviews. May eventually have to go to the adjustable gas block. In any event your product has made this trial and error process a little less painless with its value price and speedy delivery. Thank you for your innovation. Please keep it up!

Bought this for a 6.5 Creedmoor I built which was showing signs of being over gassed. Popped this bad boy in and got it running smooth. Excellent quality product and at half the price of the competition. Would definitely recommend this buffer to anyone.

I built a 308 with a 18" barrel/ mid length gas setup. I read tons of reviews about most 308s being over gassed from the factory. I kept coming back to a heavy buffer and a Sprinco orange spring. Buffer and spring combo have worked flawlessly!!! Buffer worked great. Would highly recommend to anyone who has a 308 receiver.

I purchased this on recommendation from a bud named Matt for my Sig Sauer 716 Patrol and it definitely does great with some recoil management. Recommend it to anyone looking to add to a great recoil management system.

Solved all my problems. Built a new AR 10 308 witH a UBR stock. I had problems initially using a standard AR10 carbine spring and buffer. It would not cycle after first round. I orders this heavy buffer and a springco orange coded spring and this fixed everything. Rifle cycles great and is smooth and is recoil better than expected. Also this buffer is half the price of the other recommended heavy buffers available. Great purchase and great value.
