9mm CARRIER WEIGHT EXTRA HEAVY

I used this in conjunction with KAK's 8oz PCC extended buffer to increase the weight of my DOE's action to 24.4ozs. By doing this it mitigates any bolt bounce and out of battery detonations which is common with AR9s with lighter actions. Not only that, this helps with recoil impulse. So remember folks, the rule of thumb is 22ozs or more for the combined weight of your bolt and buffer. The more the merrier. Good luck.

I used this on my Foxtrot Mike FM9 bolt. It didn't fit, but I saw on blowback9.com that you could make a sleeve for it. That worked great and my bolt went from 14.1oz to16.7oz. Adding the extra weight really helps slow down the bolt and bring down the felt recoil. I highly recommend.

The first one I ordered came with the hole for the roll pin drilled off-center and it couldn’t be used. I contacted KAK and they sent me a replacement ASAP. I wanted to use this in conjunction with a hydraulic buffer, so that my combined bolt and buffer weight would fall within 22-24 oz range.

love this weight. I have added 5 or 6 now to all various kinds of 9mm bolts. Definitely gets the weight up for blow back PCC.

I wanted to add some mass to my AR9 BCG/Buffer system to calm down the recoil. This added 2.1 ounces to my Faxon BCG. There was a review that included dimensions but some were missing so I will list them all here (they were helpful to me). The weight is 1.6" in length, 0.615" diameter. The hole for the roll pin is 0.25". The center of the roll pin hole is 0.6" from one end and 1" from the other. The bore of most AR9 BCGs where this weight will go is 0.625'-.630". Great product, great price, and I have not seen anyone else offer something like this for the AR9 BCGs out there. Great job KAK! Also, I reached out to customer service to get more dimensions and they emailed be back the next day with the answers. Great customer service!

These are great, I have bought about 4 or 5 so far to increase bolt weight for these newer lighter bolts. I have used on several brand bolts and has worked for me. Thanks KAK for making unique parts and affordable prices.

I'm very pleased with this hidden gem. I have 3x CMMG Banshee, 2 in 9mm, 1 in 45. Stock carriers are under 12oz, but they'll sell you a 3.5oz weight, that worked until can went on, then forget about it, constant jams w/45. Then they'll sell you an 8oz buffer for helps with 45, but not actually reliable (I feel sorry for 10mm guys). The 10oz buffer and 4.5oz carrier weight saved this 8" 45 from trash. Impact at 100yds is up, so velocity is up. Ejection is right at 3 o'clock, instead of down range 20ft at 1 o'clock. Ejection port gas and sound is retarded, you just hear buffer spring. Technical Note: A5 buffer tube needed on Banshee to fit 10oz buffer, because CMMG carrier design. I feel KAK could do better pushing this weight and 10oz buffer Banshee owners who deal with constant problems suppressed, trying ejector spring, extractor springs AR10 buffer springs, until they give up.

I would give this 5 stars but it didn't fit my FM carrier. The hole for the roll pin is in a different location and is a different diameter compared to the carrier. When I contacted customer service they told me they are designed for Colt pattern BCG's. Wish they would have added that to the description. I was able to return it so it ended up not being a big deal. Wish they would make on that fits the Foxtrot Mike carrier though!
