AR15 9MM Carbine Extended Buffer, 8.4 oz

Works very nice in my AR9 made a world of difference with the extra weight

Received and installed in relatively reliable FM 9 that came stock with a 6.5oz steel extended buffer. Selected this to eliminate possibility of bolt bounce. Need some more time to see if this increases reliability, but high speed photo of bolt released by bolt catch show's no discernible rearward movement when loads a round into battery, which was the point. Will update if use reveals something negative or exceedingly positive.

I got the kak 9mm buffer and my 9mm ar has been running great with 500 rounds through it I have only had 2 malfunctions and they were both mag related. 5 stars!

This is my first build and the first AR style rifle, so take this however you wish. I used this buffer in combination with the AR-15 MIL-SPEC CARBINE BUFFER TUBE and a Wilson Combat flat wire spring. This combination worked great. Not a single malfunction at all others than the LRBHO didn’t engage every time. This was not the fault of the buffer. I’m happy with it. Recoil is less than I expected from what I’ve read about 9mm PPC’s and recoil.

This is just what my AR-15 9mm pistol needed. Not only did it reduce recoil and muzzle rise but second and third shots were right on target with minimal effort.

Got this buffer to get my buffer and bcg to be over 22 Oz for my epc9. So far so good, but haven’t had many rounds through it yet.

This buffer & regular carbine spring Solved 90-95% of my 10.5” PCC Build issues. Got another for my 16” and it’s running flawless now too. Heavier, reciprocating buffer & lighter spring was exactly what was needed to smooth out the weapons.
