Great product paired well with a Kaw Valley free float handguard. No modifications needed to the barrel nut.

So far so good! Put about 50 rounds through it right out of the box and it functions perfect with KAKs micro length gas tube.

NICE
Just a "SHORT" review of my new 4.75" barrel. FINALLY!!!! I searched for a barrel this short for a while and KAK had it!! Really nice however, I would have thought it would be cheaper since there is less material, less machining and less drilling & rifling to do but still not too bad of a price. $50-$70 would be more like it or maybe for $90 include a Flash Can on it!!

Surprised it works.
Can’t say enough Good things about KAK shipping and delivery. Super fast great service. Bought 2 barrels and built 2 shorty pistols. Regular gas blocks and I’m using a H1 buffer. The pistols run great with 556 ammo. Now with .223 ammo I can only get around 2-6 shots before it fails to eject. Most of the time I have to knock the stock on the table to get the spent shell out. The barrel and chamber are very dirty with powder and brass when I shot .223 ammo. So I have a 2 dedicated 556 pistols. No big deal I expected some issues with the short barrel but its lots of fun to shoot. kak response - these are set up to be used with standard carbine 3.0 oz buffers
