    Great quality, fair price.

Product arrived fast and in great shape. Barrel has a great sweet balance. I like having a mid-length gas system. Will be buying a few more. Sold on 12.5 & 20 being the only 5.56 barrel lengths I need in my life. Can't wait to finish my builds in time!

    12.5” midlength

This barrel is actually of higher quality than anticipated. Valueline leads you to believe it will be cheap, which I was ok with. The barrels are well finished, very clean looking, and very well protected for shipping. And the nitrite process is actually rated to be more durable than chrome lining. I’m very pleased with it. I can easily keep it under MOA at 100m, haven’t had a chance to walk it out to 200 or 300 yet. And that’s about all I would expect out of any barrel less than 16”.

    12.5 inch mid length barrel

Posted by Matt on May 30, 2018

This is the best barrel for 100.00 I've ever had. It's a standard barrel but the performance was surprising, I installed it and took it out for ops checks and brake in. Nothing different than any other barrel I've ever installed, except the accuracy. I was able to hold 1 moa with 3 different ammunition brands and was able to hit a 6 inch steel plate 100% of the time at 100 yards with all the ammo I had brought out...which included Tul,Wolf, and Brown Bear. The fact that I was standing unsupported with a pistol with no brace...thats impressive accuracy for me. When I used my hand loads it was sub-moa groups (.75in). I used a standard low profile gas block and had 0 fail with the 223/5.56. I also installed a CMMG 22lr conversion bolt carrier in and it performs better with this barrel than my 16,18,or 20 inch rifles. Over all i am very impressed with this barrel on my pistol.

Will complete my low cost 300 blackout pistol with a mid length barrel

The barrel appears to be a very well made value barrel and installed easily, Though the barrel dimpling was a chore. Have not broke in the barrel yet. Will build a 9” Mr. Blonde blackout upper next.

    Great Barrel

The barrel is an awesome value and quality. The machining is good and the finish is even. The barrel is accurate even with milsurp ammo. No problems with the mid-length gas system functioning. Haven't had any issues yet. Don't hesitate to buy.

    impressed

Posted by Don on March 30, 2018

I had been looking for a 12.5" mid length barrel for some time after reading an article about barrel length compared to velocity as well as being unimpressed with the carbine gas systems on many of the shorter pistol/SBR barrel lengths. Everything I looked at was a higher price than what I was willing to pay for what I considered to be a "truck gun". After receiving, installing and shooting the barrel I'm nothing short of impressed with the quality from fit and finish to accuracy. The only thing that I noticed that might be an issue is how hard the steel is when I dimpled it for the gas block as I had to buy a cobalt bit and that still seemed to have a hard time but I got it done and again I'm impressed and considering buying another. Thank you

    Seems like a great barrel

Posted by Evan on March 28, 2018

I put this on what I had planned to be a beater/training rifle and honestly it seems a little too good for that... but that just means it’s gonna be put through it’s paces. I expected the finish or machining to be a little sub par for the price, but it is very aesthetically appealing. The tolerances all seem to be right on, the threads are clean and the gas port seems to be appropriate for the short dwell time without being overgassed. I’m running it with an adjustable gas block, A5 buffer tube, the 3.8oz buffer (A5H0, the lightest VLTOR offers) and an 8.2oz lightweight BCG and even with such lightweight components, it barely had to restrict the gas flow. No feeding or extraction issues with brass or steel yet. Haven’t had a chance to really test out accuracy, all I’ve done is get the build together and tuned for reliable cycling and I was just shooting at a torso sized rock I decided I didn’t particularly like that was about 150yds away with unzeroed iron sights and I didn’t have any problems tagging it repeatedly.

    Love this barrel

Got this to make a 12.5 Dissipator of sorts. This barrel are run 100% so far and I've put about 400rds of wolf steel case threw it. I had some concerns if it was going to cycle reliably with wolf but it has been great no issues to date. The only thing I wish they would habe offered is an A2 FSB option, I had to drill and pin my own. But this is I. My opinion much better then is more popular 10.5 inch brother. More velocity without giving up anything in the mobility dept. And in my case the ability to put midlength handguard on the barrel, which allows me to extend my hand out further. And it looks badass!!!!
