Top Shelf Quality for Bargain Basement Budget
This barrel deserves 5 stars just for the price alone, but KAK went to infinity and beyond with this barrel. The price is fantastic, and it shoots well too. My groups are hovering between 1-1.5" MOA with Federal M193 @ 100 yards, which is better than some other barrels I have that cost twice as much. Everything about this barrel exudes quality and attention to details. The only, and I mean ONLY, thing that keeps this barrel from being the best thing to ever be fitted to one of my rifles is that it is EXTREMELY over-gassed. with a standard Carbine buffer and gas block, the ejection pattern is at 2 O'clock, and the amount of gas coming out of the bolt carrier rivals a suppressed MK18. I would highly recommend an adjustable gas block, or a heavier (H1 or H2) buffer, if changing the gas block is not an option. An H1 buffer will put the ejection pattern at 3 o'clock. Please, KAK, if you read these reviews, please shrink the gas port. Your customers' eyes and lungs will thank you for it KAK response. barrel is made to run with cheap 223 steel case as well so nice M193 will be a little overgassed..

No complaints
Shot everything I put thru it. Very satisfied

Very impressed at this price point
I installed this barrel with a standard taper pinned FSB on a carry handle upper and it’s awesome. Groups at the indoor range are good at short ranges. The barrel is way over gassed and needs an adjustable gas block or gas key to tame the flames shooting out the ejection port. Over gassed is better than under, and function has been perfect. Will buy again.

AWESOME!
This is the first barrel I have ever bought and I got to say the finish is really nice. I bought this to do a build with Anderson Manufacturing Upper and Lower Receiver build. I would Recommend this barrel.

Excellent barrel
Excellent barrel well it was a gift for Christmas for my wife It has A cheap red dot sight on it for now Seems to be accurate. Until we put a scope on it I won’t know how accurate it is i’m pretty sure it’s accurate just from shooting it with the red dot scope on it. good finish on the barrel machining looks good I will buy another one or two different lengths Some time here and it’s Fast shipping thank you

Best sleeper barrel around!
So far I've only got a few rounds through the barrel but all I can say is wow! For the price you get a barrel I would have paid double for and still been happy. Ordered this to replace a B.C. barrel that I was not satisfied with the group sizes. The KAK 12.5 shoots circles around it, with a 3.5moa RMR I'm getting 4in groups using factory federal AE 5.56 55gr. I will report back once I break it in and set up a scope. Thanks KAK, I will be buying more barrels in the future!

Awesome but over gassed
This is my favorite barrel, and has become my primary upper for hunting. It is extremely accurate, with CBC Magtech 77 SMK it is a consistent Sub MOA. 10 shot groups of 1" at 100 yards is easy. Very accurate, and I chrono it giving 90fps more than my DD/Colt 11.5" uppers, so the added velocity is nice for hunting. I don't even use my 16" any more. I do love this barrel, but there are two downsides. It is over gassed. I am running a Bootleg adjustable carrier on full suppressed setting, and a PWS H4 buffer. It reliably cycles and BHO on empty mag, but def overgassed. I would do an adjustable gas block if starting fresh. Second, the barrel doesn't have dimples for gas block screws and wow this barrel is hard material because I couldn't drill them even with KAKs kit. So that was annoying. Very nice barrel though and midlength is great for 11.5 suppressed.
