    I bought this barrel for my AR-.308 pistol build. I used this barrel with Aero Precision parts and it fit perfectly with my build. I thought the price was a bit high but it was worth it

    Barrel is superb quality, along with fit and finish makes it a great CQB option. Not to mention, it will still ring 6'' round steel at 200yds with ease. KAK takes out the guess work for my future 308 builds.

    Was looking at 10.5 inch barrel and was just putting it off. Just looked it up again and saw the 12.5 inch barrel and it's price. Had to get it and I am not disappointed. Can't wait to get to the range.

    I really like everything about this barrel. Only thing I had concerns about is the fit to the upper. It was TIGHT!! Got it to go but I don't know if it was the MEGA upper or the barrel.

    Fire power in a small package

    I purchased the McClane upper a couple years ago. Great upper. But wasn't satisfied with 100 yards performance. When I saw KAK selling a 12.5 inch barrel, I immediately contacted Kurt for a barrel swap. The barrel was on sale and KAK took care of me for the swap. Only shot around 10 shots due to weather but from those shots proved my theory. My groups with same reloads tightened right up @100 yards. Made the right choice for the upgrade. If your in the market for a short barreled 308, this is it. Perfect for CQ, long enough for accuracy. With KAK, you have the best of both worlds. I won't have gone with anyone else.
