A bit heavy, but perfect fit.
This was the final piece to complete a DPMS LR-308 kit of parts. I was after a little lighter completed gun but this will do. Everything fit snugly, no extra play anywhere. I used an Superlative Arms adjustable clamp-on gas block and a RIFLE length gas tube to complete, no bending or trimming needed. Lock up is fine. Just got a green dot sight for it, hasn't made it to the range yet. Need to create some ammo since there's none to be had. Intended usage is whitetail deer and larger varmints. Shipped in a well padded real box with several layers of packaging, USPS delivered on time. Clean it well before firing...

Advertised as rifle length gas system. It most definitely is NOT. It's intermediate length.
