The right part for the job
The very small extra length of this item makes all the difference for large-frame receivers. This is that part that SHOULD be included in build kits for LR308 lowers.Thank you KAK Industy!!

Extended AR-15/LT308 MAGAZINE RELEASE
Works better then a AR-15 mag release

I'm Happy : )
I ordered this for my AR-10/.308 build. The part provided by the manufactures parts kit seemed a little short. I ordered this and it fits perfectly, and was shipped quick.. Highly recommended : )

Fit and Function
This was needed to complete ar 10 dpms, from 80% arms.

I particularly like the little extra.
I particularly like the little extra length, so you don't have to push quite as hard or deep to release the mag.

Outstanding
Perfect transaction! This part is exactly what I needed to complete my AR10 project. Fast shippingnand fair prices. I’m on team KAK now!

Always available
Something about most of the .308 lowers that won't take a standard mag drop screw. Why even put them in a lower kit? KAK always has the extended ones in stock. Thank you AR15 forums for the tip. Thank you KAK. for not price gouging a hard find.

Great product
I had a standard AR15 mag release in my Aero Precision AR308 and as you probably know the standard release is about a quarter in to short. I picked this up it replaced the other easily, looks and functions great and I have already been recommending it to others. I definitely will buy this again

GREAT Magazine Release Specifically for LR-308 Lower Receivers
I've built several LR-308's, all based on the DPMS pattern. Often when I order what is supposed to be a large AR Format Lower Parts Kit, the Magazine Release and a couple of other parts are the same item as used on AR-15 lowers. And sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. The problem with using a standard AR-15 Magazine Release on an LR-308 Lower Receiver is the Magwell of the LR-308 Lower is thicker than an AR-15 Lower. So the threads on the shank of the AR-15 Magazine Release barely engage the threads in the Mag Release Button. The LR-308 Magazine Release made and sold by KAK has a longer threaded shank and solves that issue! AND the KAK price is very reasonable! FAST shipping too. GLAD I found KAK!
