KAK INDUSTRY SHOCKWAVE TUBE

This thing is awesome! Light weight and made of a quality plastic, very durable. Simple design but works effectively. Easy to install and the screw holds it all in place very well even on a buffer tube that isn’t pre dimpled. Over all very happy with everything.

I’ve had this for almost 2 years. It’s been absolutely awesome, the blade doesn’t move at all when it’s set in. Recently noticed the brace seemed like it had spun around on the tube, when I checked it out it seems the threads had stripped where the castle nut end plate locks in and allowed the tube to spin(even with a properly torqued castle nut). Now to give credit where it’s due, the blade was still locked in correctly in the dimples. But I’m currently deciding if I’ll replace the tube and keep my blade, or if I’ll run a sigbrace with the enhanced tube from KAK. Regardless I’ll continue giving KAK my business because they’re products are awesome.

The discription of this product along with the stabilizer is enough for me to personally back it up and see it for myself. No room to wiggle at all. This is perfect for your soon to be SBR or just keeping it as a pistol variant.

What more can I say the title says it all. It works great.

This tube is a pure joy to install and it works great with the shockwave blade arm brace.

The tube all in all is great especially for the price. I would change a couple of things in the manufacturing process. There is chatter in the last couple of inches inside the tube (couple inches is an estimate) this will not affect performance im just very picky. I would also roller burnish the inside of the tube for a smooth as glass finish (reference the way tubes used to be made and how LMT still makes them). I would like to see dry film lube in the bore (again reference LMT, Colt , and some other manufacturers that still do dry film lube). I would tell the anodizer to rack the parts differently as there are racking marks on the inside. This tube is solid and good to go but since KAK emailed me for my opinion and I am a very picky machinist and a very picky person when it comes to gun parts I thought I would offer constructive criticism. Despite my remarks this tube is on par with 90+% of tubes I see these days and better than a lot of the 90+% Roller burnishing and dry film lube would certainly add to the cost of manufacture and that cost would be past on to the consumer but it would be a price hike I would welcome. Kind of a stickler about receiver extension bores being slick and smooth. I recommend this product and will be buying more.

I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Buffer tube fit & finish is top notch. Solid construction & aesthetically pleasing. Shockwave Blade fits perfectly with no wobble. I'll be using these on all my future pistol builds. FYI: I ordered 10/27 & received it 10/29. Super fast shipping! Thanks guys!
