Perfect remedy for cycling issues
I got an 18" 223 wylde upper that wasn't feeding/cycling properly so this buffer dialed it in perfect with a 2.11 oz weight combination. Zero issues now from just the lightened buffer. Highly recommended part and company!

A great product for flexibility
I haven't actually shot my carbine with this buffer yet, but its quality is high. I really like the ability to tune the buffer's weight to whatever is needed, all with one kit. If I could make any suggestions, it would be to mark the weights in the kit to remove any guesswork in trying to figure out the 2 heaviest sets of weights. But it's a great kit, a great idea, and shipping was fast.

Perfect for tuning your rifle!
If you are looking to tune your rifle to run perfectly like Mr. Stoner envisioned for it originally, you need this kit. Or, I guess you could spend well over 100.00 USD buying several Buffers and break them down for parts. Getting this tuning kit is the smart way to do it instead. Spend a little time weighing the buffer in various configurations with different weight combinations to develop a "chart". It is time well spent. Then at the range you can just look up what combination of weights you will need to achieve a specific buffer weight. This will allow you to creep up on buffer weight 1/2 or 1/4 oz at a time to get the exact buffer weight for your rifle to run a specific ammunition. Keep records so if you start having trouble with a different ammo, just look it up, change the weight for that ammo and you are back in business. Sometimes, you have to get the ammo you can, not the ammo you want. This kit makes it much less frustrating to get your rifle to run with "questionable" ammo. I've bought two of these kits so I could "build" different buffers in different weights ahead of time so at the range all I have to do is get in the range bag and get out the appropriate buffer for whatever ammo I'm running that day. The colored bumper tips make it a little easier to tell the buffers apart. Brilliant idea KAK! Thanks.

Great buffer kit!
It is a great buffer kit to have. It is highly customizable to find the perfect weight combination. I just have an issue installing the roll pin in the buffer body. It is either the hole in the buffer body is too small for the roll pin or vice versa. I don't know if others have experienced the same problem or maybe it is just me. Other than that, it is a great product.
