Taper adapter for Century Arms AP53, enables use of muzzle devices that register on the shoulder of the adapter

Adapter covers detent cuts on barrel

for AP53 556 with 1/2-28 threads, may not be compatible with other tapered barrels

Swiss turned steel with Manganese Phosphate finish

Like any other suppressor mounting system, verify concentricity after installing..

If you are timing a muzzle device for suppressed use, it's recommended to use a single precision shim.

    I had purchased this with the assumption that I would need it in order to use a suppressor with my AP53. I would not have guessed that after I removed the stock flash hider, that the newer guns apparently have done away with the tapered shoulder, now utilizing a standard 90 degree shoulder. So.... I didn't need to use it.... BUT, I will keep it as it seems well-made and may come in handy one day.
